Well,
I'd been wondering for awhile whether I was feeling the baby, but today I knew for sure. I was practicing the guitar, and didn't really notice the movement because the vibrations in the guitar, until the song ended. And it felt like my lower stomach was still vibrating for a couple seconds! So either 'Baby Samson' (hopefully we'll know what to tentatively call it next week) loves music, or hates it!! :) Coming out of me, though, I don't know how it could hate it. I don't know if everyone knows this, but I've been singing in choir for at least 10 years, know the basics of piano and clarinet, can mostly play guitar and bassoon, and can 'fluently' play flute and bari sax. I can probably do more instruments, but I can't think of them right now.

Anyhow, it was cool to experience the 'quickening', of course. It will only get better. I'm starting to definitely look pregnant, and fortunately for me, the weather is pretty warm at the moment, so I can wear my shirts that say 'Pregnant by Choice' and 'Baby Under Construction' without freezing or popping seams.

I dyed my hair yesterday evening...the box said 'fuschia' and it came out kinda magenta. A very 'hot' pink, quite vivid. Here's a couple of pics, which don't really do justice to the shocking color. I know they're basically the same, just one's with flash, but anyway.



We'll see how long it lasts...the box didn't say if it was semi-permanent or temp or permanent, but usually color dyes like this are semi-permanent or temporary. We'll find out... :)

Today I tried out the Parks & Rec's Jazzercise, which was okay but not great. I think I'll join St. Mary's instead, it's not like I'm real short on money, and St. Mary's is a much better deal anyhow.
